on discrimination
May 24, 2008
Thanks, Ang!
Someone should do the same experiment in Malaysia (contextualised of course) to let us confront ourselves – just how colour blind are we? Heh. The producer may be detained under the sedition act.

The sum of things
May 22, 2008“God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed,
courage to change the things that should be changed,
and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.”
The journey of life here on earth is indeed the sum of every single decision we make; to go, to fight, to befriend, to love, to surrender. And yet, it’s so much more. Right now, I choose to surrender. Tomorrow, I fight.
It’s not over yet, so I’m gonna keep moving forward. Some things I can change.

Here’s a picture of him drinking coconuts with family & Prof Sulo from UM.

Karim Raslan gives (in my opinion) by far the most amusing take on Mahathir’s resignation. Firdaus cheekily hints – Najib is drooling in anticipation.
Najib also said that he had contacted Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on the matter soon after news of the decision reached him here.
“I will continue to discuss with the party president on efforts to strengthen Umno and also the issue of leadership transition in the party…
- The Star (emphasis mine)
The Star, NST and Malaysia Today’s websites are taking forever to load. Malaysians cannot help themselves. Domestic politics is like a tv series… only much better – bolder and more beautiful.
Back to work.
